Micro-credits：Introducing the Family Welfare Center by Division Chief, Social Affairs Bureau

Feng Chia University (FCU) is honored to have Siaoyin Chen, the Division Chief of the Social Affairs Bureau, Taichung City Government as the lecturer on micro-credit courses. To let students know more about the Caring channels of the department, especially the business details from the operation of the community website, Ms. Chen has introduced the establishment and development of the Family Welfare Service Center, as well as its service objects and business contents, etc.

However, there are some obstacles for their work. For example, each administrative staff has to run over 50 social media accountsincluding the Women’s Welfare Center, the Family Service Center for Foreign Spouses, the Children’s Service Center, the Parent-child Center, the Family Welfare Service Center, and the Child and Juvenile Adoption Information Center, etc.

After this course, students who are interested in social welfare issues will be invited to run the fan page with the Social Affairs Bureau together. Hopefully more and more people will be acknowledged with available resources of the Social Affairs Bureau.
