Many countries in the world are facing a problem of an aging society. We heard a lot about Long-Term Care 2.0 or many kinds of new medical facilities/policies, and one of them is co-housing. So, what will co-housing bring to the aging society?

On 27th March, s.School was honored to invite Prof. Yen-Chieh Lo, , Department of Journalism for the Co-housing and Intergenerational Communication, Chinese Culture University to give a lecture: The Example of Co-living Project by Northern Universities in Taiwan. In the lecture, he discussed what co-housing/co-living is, the opportunities and crises brought by the co-housing scheme, and some actual co-housing cases in Taiwan, etc.

His speech made students reflect on the relationship between themselves and the elderly. It is believed that co-housing will be the trend and a way out of teenagers struggling with housing problems in the future.
