The Humanities and Technology Grand Lecture Series Invites Distinguished Chair Professor Chung‑Ming Kuan to Speak on “The Future of Globalization and Taiwan’s Challenges”

Since the 2023–24 academic year, Feng Chia University has launched its first large‑scale life‑education program, the Humanities and Technology Grand Lecture Series, inviting experts and scholars from diverse fields to share their wisdom and insights. The series aims to help students cultivate strong humanistic thinking while navigating the opportunities and challenges brought by rapid technological development, fostering their ability to understand and respect different values.

Lanting Gathering IV — Free Expression Between Heaven and Earth: The Joy of Creation Tai‑Le Cheng and Chairperson Cheng‑Shu Kao Complete an On‑site Co‑creation

Continuing the spirit of last academic year’s “Lanting Gathering,” which brought together distinguished scholars each month to share their rich life experiences and perspectives on university education, the first session of this semester was launched on November 3 with “Lanting Gathering IV — Free Expression Between Heaven and Earth: The Joy of Creation.” Chair Professor Tai‑Le Cheng was invited to give a special lecture, presenting “Wine Cup Tilts, Heaven and Earth Forgotten,” the first time this work had ever been publicly exhibited.

Feng Chia Team Wins 5th CubeSat Mission Design Contest Championship!

The CubeSat Mission Design Contest is an international competition for students to design innovative and noteworthy space projects/missions utilizing CubeSats. The Feng Chia team, presenting their project titled "Communication and Data Processing in Deep Space Exploration by CubeSat with Machine Learning Optimization.

This year marks the 104th anniversary of National Chung Hsing University, which has selected nine distinguished alumni across four major fields: academic research, corporate leadership, public service, and arts and culture. President Wei Wang of Feng Chia University was selected as one of the recipients of the 27th Outstanding Alumni Award.

Honorary Vice President Jyh‑Horng Chou Receives the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Chinese Automatic Control Society

Honorary Vice President Jyh‑Horng Chou of Feng Chia University, who is also a Chair Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Computer-Aided Engineering, specializes in automation and control, optimization technologies, artificial intelligence, quality engineering, information technology, and system integration. He has made exceptional contributions to academic research and industry–academia collaboration. Most recently, he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in Automatic Control Engineering from the Chinese Automatic Control Society (CACS). The award ceremony will be held on October 28.

Feng Chia Actively Advances Bilingual Education: Three Colleges Selected as Key Development Colleges

On September 15, the Ministry of Education announced the second‑phase (Academic Years 2023–2025) results of the Bilingual Education Program for College Students. Three colleges at Feng Chia University—the International School of Technology and Management (NT$4 million), the College of Business (NT$5 million), and the School of Architecture (NT$4 million)—were selected as Key Development Colleges. Among comprehensive private universities, Feng Chia ranks among those with the highest number of selected colleges. Together with an additional NT$2.6 million university‑level allocation, the total subsidy amounts to NT$15.6 million.

Feng Chia University Achieves Full Enrollment, Demonstrating Strong Public Trust Through Dedicated Educational Efforts

The University Entrance Committee for Admission (UECA) announced the enrollment results for the 2023 (Academic Year 112) distribution admissions today. Feng Chia University received a total of 1,098 distributed admission quotas, all of which were fully enrolled. This achievement follows the earlier success in the admission application round, where Feng Chia University set a nationwide record with 2,043 admitted students.

On June 29th,2022, announced the "Best Universities in Taiwan" for 2022. Feng Chia broke through the medical Universities and ranked fourth among the top five private schools without the abundant resources of consortia, religion, and medicine.

Cheers magazine 2022 "University Performance Growth" survey invited 144 presidents of colleges and universities across Taiwan to evaluate each other and recommend universities that have grown significantly in recent years. The results showed that Feng Chia University ranked fourth in all universities. We are named for reasons such as industry-Academia Cooperation, outstanding innovation of curriculum, strengths in digital teaching, the impact of child-rearing but continue to be active in hardware and software construction. Last, continuous to create school characteristics, teaching innovation and internationalization, our Progress had evident.

The "Gongshan Building" at Feng Chia University has only two floors, even without a basement. A good building itself must be modest, low-key, and beautiful. "Great love" does not need to be expressed by tall and big buildings. A good university landmark should be in our hearts!

"Cheers" magazine has organized the "University Performance Growth" survey since 2015, inviting the presidents of colleges and universities across Taiwan to recommend universities with significant growth in performance. On February 3, it announced the "2021 University Performance Growth Top 20", Feng Chia University Ranked third in the country; at the same time, it has also ranked first in private schools in Taiwan for 7 consecutive years.
