The 2025 Taiwan Artificial Intelligence Annual Conference was held on September 9-10 at the Humanities and Social Sciences Building, Academia Sinica, gathering over 1,500 elites from industry, government, academia, and research sectors to jointly discuss "Taiwan's AI Competitiveness." During the conference, Feng Chia University officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Taiwan AI Academy Foundation (AIA), becoming the central certification unit of AIA Taiwan AI Academy. Both parties completed the signing at the event and will jointly launch the "AI Industry Talent Competency Certification Program."

The 2025 Freshman Growth Camp "Hello World!" opening ceremony was held in two lively sessions at the Sports Center, marking a brand new chapter in university life. The Hot Dance Club, Melody Guitar Club, Pop Music Club, and Dalan Reunion Club took turns performing, while Kahoot! interactive games ignited the freshmen's enthusiasm. The Club Expo was held for the first time in Virtuosi Hall, with 70 student clubs gathering together and nearly 4,000 freshmen exploring and discovering the diverse charms of each club.

The admission list for the 2025 academic year (114th academic year) was announced yesterday (13th). Despite the impact of declining birth rates, Feng Chia University continues to deliver outstanding results, maintaining a full enrollment record for three consecutive years. This achievement reflects the high level of trust and recognition from students and parents in Feng Chia University’s dedication to education. It also extends the university’s record for the highest number of distributed admissions nationwide, with 2,407 students admitted through the application process.

Feng Chia University again shined in technical competitions as Information Engineering student Chen-Yi Lin and alumnus Yen-Ting Kuo excelled in the “Cloud Computing” category at the 55th National Skills Competition, taking first and third place. The event was co-organized by Asia’s largest Apple reseller STUDIO A’s campus brand Straight A, Feng Chia University, and National Taiwan University’s Apple RTC, with official support from Apple. This year’s contest set a new record, attracting 658 teams and 1,021 faculty and students from 71 universities and colleges across Taiwan. The competition was fierce and creativity abounded, showcasing the limitless potential of Taiwanese students in iOS application innovation.

The “Central Taiwan Ten-University Summer Joint Service Team,” jointly initiated by Feng Chia University, Tunghai University, and China Medical University in 2006, held the “20th Central Taiwan Ten-University Summer Joint Service Team Flag Presentation Ceremony” this afternoon (3rd) at Feng Chia University. Over the past 20 years, the service team has expanded from three to ten universities and colleges in central Taiwan, with nearly a thousand students participating and serving thousands of rural children, making it the largest and most historic cross-university summer service initiative in central Taiwan.
