With advantages such as safety considerations, a time difference of only 2 hours, and more affordable tuition and living costs, the number of Taiwanese students studying in Australia has been increasing year by year. Since 2014, Feng Chia University has been at the forefront in Taiwan by establishing the International School of Technology and Management and has successively collaborated with many of Australia's top 100 universities. This year, with the full support of the Australian Office, Feng Chia University has fully launched academic exchanges with Australian universities. On September 27, 2024, the Australian Education Exhibition was specially held at Feng Chia University, a benchmark university for Taiwan-Australia international cooperative education.

On the morning of the event, Feng Chia University held the "Taiwan-Australia Academic Exchange," inviting the Australian Office and Australian partner universities with international cooperative education programs with Feng Chia, including The University of Queensland, Monash University, and The University of New South Wales, as well as upcoming partners such as the University of Technology Sydney, Queensland University of Technology, University of South Australia, University of Adelaide, and University of Tasmania. Feng Chia University Chairperson Kao, Cheng-Shu warmly welcomed the partners from Australia in his speech and emphasized that Feng Chia University has always been committed to promoting international cooperation and exchanges, especially with Australia, to provide students with high-quality and safe international learning opportunities.

In response to geopolitical and post-pandemic considerations and the global job market, the International School of Technology and Management at Feng Chia University has an enrollment quota of over 190 students for the 114th academic year and will join the dual bachelor's degree programs in design with the University of New South Wales and in electrical engineering with The University of Queensland, providing more diverse overseas study options for Taiwanese parents and students. Established nearly ten years ago, the International School of Technology and Management at Feng Chia University has so far collaborated with seven internationally renowned universities, offering nine international special programs, successfully cultivating nearly 300 outstanding graduates who have obtained dual bachelor's degrees from Feng Chia University and partner universities in the United States and Australia. More than half of the students choose to continue their studies to obtain a master's degree, with many successfully applying to world-renowned universities and receiving scholarships, such as Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell University, The Ohio State University, and The University of Texas at Austin. In addition to continuing their studies, some students choose to stay locally or return to Taiwan for employment, with graduates currently employed at world-renowned technology companies such as Intel, AMD, Foxconn, and Trend Micro.

At 4:00 PM on September 27, the Australian Education Exhibition was bustling at the Feng Chia Recreation Building, with over a thousand parents and students participating.
